In this post I'd like to collect what additional features I'm trying to implement in the ClamAgent. You are wellcome to comment this features or even vote what is important to you. This can determine what will be implemented sooner.
Here is the list (the order of the list is not the order of the implementation):
- Support for the earlier version of Exchange (this also means, it will be usable with the IIS6-s SMTP engine)
- API based access to the ClamWin (if I can implement it, the result can be faster execution)
- Parsing of the clamscan.exe output
- Reporting statistics to a database
- Better configurability (Execution timeout, maximum attachment size to scan, which part of the clamscan.exe's output include to the virus report to the user, etc.)
- Installer
- Anything else come to my mind, or you suggest
